National Park Guidelines

Know Before You Go

While there is no entrance fee to enjoy the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, there are important new guidelines implemented to help preserve the trails and facilities.

Parking Tags Required: You must purchase a parking tag to park anywhere in the National Park. A daily tag is $5, and a weekly tag is $15.
Displaying Your Tag: If you purchase a daily or weekly tag online, you must print it yourself and display it on the front, lower passenger side dashboard.
Short Stops: Parking tags are NOT required if you are just passing through the area or parking for less than 15 minutes.
